When we bought her first pair the sizes were 115, 130, 145 & 160. Moment was out of stock of Carson 115 so I sent an email to Luke J who is now the CEO. He was in Europe skiing but sent me an email and told me who to call at the factory to dig around and see if they had anything. They found a 2012 in the right size.

Our Granddaughter races on 125 SL / 130' ish GS and the 136 Carson for her was no problem. Keep in mind they ski shorter with the rocker in the front. What you buy for your daughter has everything to do with how she skis, how tall she is etc. Our granddaughter is tall, 4'9" and long legs. My guess is the 121's might be a one season ski for her if she hits a growth spurt like kids can do.

    Good luck

Here is Allison last year on her 136's. One thing about kids skis is there are always people looking to buy used.

Those are badass. The old Moment topsheet designs are incredibly well done! Very unique. I still declare the old Jaguar Sharks as one of my favorite topsheets ever. Would be cool to see some custom topsheet options by Moment like ON3P does.

Kinda new to the forums, I'm the VP at Moment and Melee's right hand man.

We do offer a full custom program, everything from older graphics to tour builds to stiffer profiles etc...

The program is limited to the 18/19 lineup, as we've cleaned out a lot of the older tooling to make models such as the Jaguar Shark.

Shoot us an email for some additional information, custom orders usually ship 2-3 weeks after the order has been placed.

Yeah seriously haha But the fact that its limited to the current lineup and not open to remake old models should keep things from getting out of hand! I've always contemplated a Deathwish 190, with Aspen/Ash core and stiffer flex. Seems like a good way to add some weight and make it more stout. Good to hear the 18/19 Deathwish is stiffer, and looking forward to hearing some on snow feedback!

Moment should put this up on their website (with your permission of course). Radness.

When do you think you will release more info?

Aever, I’m starting to wonder if you’re pulling some kind of duchamp/Andy Kaufman thing on the Indy ski makers.

Hype up an unmade ski, get it made, hype it up some more, load up the quiver, then unload it all and move on to a new brand ...game over.

No disrespect- it’s interesting! Securing your place in maggot lore with this craziness.

HYPE!! I like where this is going. Double swallow tail, reverse/reverse, full convex bases, comes with a matching snorkel....

    Moment Skis Discussion

I do put my money where my mouth is. Even though I’m broke. Gotta get my priorities straight.

That only happened once. The ski didnt work for terrain I ski. If only I lived in AK

From now on im just “testing” skis..

    Swallow tail skis.

    Pffft.

The future is swallow tip skis.

In a 215. Solid titanium core. No edges. Predrilled for shifts.

    - micro camber profile
    - 1 layer of titanal underfoot, tapering in the tip and tail.

Think that would hit my fun vs stability sweetspot for low-tide conditions, but IANASD.

If Moment had a full custom program a la Wagner it would be hard to resist. I get along with Deathwish so well when there a few inches of fresh or soft snow all over -- I'd love something just a little quicker in bumps and on groomers. I'm hoping the Piste Jib from Praxis will fill this role.

Oh, and the ski's name? La Petite Mort . Literally the little death. Or as Wikipedia puts it: "the sensation of orgasm as likened to death."
