Pretty proud of my first ever attempt at cobbler.

^^Nicely done. My mom used to make a cobbler/crumble hybrid that remains my favorite dessert of all time. Unfortunately, she never used recipes and couldn't remember how she made it when I asked later in life, so I've spent years not getting it quite right. I'll keep trying, though. I don't mind.

Local creamery (Pine Cone Creamery) makes a fresh peach cobbler ice cream that is to-die-for. It has chunks of peaches and cobbler topping mixed in.

Looks scrumptious! I’m here now. Had a Palisade peach from a stand earlier and it just melted in my mouth. Definitely grabbing some on the way out tomorrow. So good.

Two peaches left on the counter... they are all that remain from three 20 lb boxes grabbed from WA fruit stands in the last 3 weeks.

Joyous eatin. Preferred the Red Globe variety this year.

Leftover baked peaches. Fredicksburg peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, almonds. When I eat this probably tomorrow, there will be whipped cream as well.

    So much for my diet.

I’m jealous - all the peaches here look like they came from drought stricken trees, dragged here on dirt roads then stored in barrels of fruit fly larvae for a week

A friendly little reminder that it's peach season in Washington! Yum!

PSA for the south Denver folks, Forte farms, your friendly neighborhood peach shop just opened for the season last week on federal just below 285. Apricots are off the charts already and the peaches are right behind em.

In the thick of it right now in the Peach State. Looking forward to grabbing some SC peaches tomorrow (which, depending on the farm, have been better in my opinion).

Yes, they're still early on in the season relatively speaking but getting going for sure

It's 100+ in the "local" peach orchards this weekend. I may still schlep over there and pick a box.
Or maybe go to my sisters and reload on plums and oranges.
    Or both

I've seen a few stands with them here and there. I think next week you'll be peachy.
