    Yurt Recc in CO

Trying to plan a weekend out this winter with my lady. Somewhere that is decently tucked away with some very very mellow skiing nearby.. anyone have experience with the yurts up in North Park near the Never Summers and Cameron Pass?

    Thanks in advance

I'll take it. Never made the trip before - wasn't trying to be a stupid question haha

Hidden Treasure Yurts in Eagle County are also a possibility but approach is a bit of a slog

Not really, and especially not if you have a snowmobile.

OP, are you looking specifically for yurts or are huts also on the menu?

only hiking Montezuma. Looks like some good terrain in the area. Would like to get back to conejos.

That is correct, we got wise and with sleds it’s great...that’s when the beers and steaks started to come with on the trip.

If I remember correct, it’s about 6 miles from lot to yurt

Yeah, we rallied the snowmobiles around the meadows on the way up too and that was kinda fun. But we stayed at Polar Star.
