Neil Young question
I was driving around yesterday, listening to a local bare bones total free form college station, and they played an instrumental cut that sure sounded like Neil. It was beautiful. It was an electric guitar track laid over an acoustic intro. Sort of slow and full of remorse, if that makes sense. Bluesy. Had to be him. I haven't followed his latest stuff over the past few years. Does this sound like something he's done very recently?

Did you call the station? The DJ would know what song it was and who performed it...

No, it certainly wasn't booji boy, and, yeah, I called, and the slacker didn't even answer. py website, too, with no live playlist. They play 90% stuff I have never heard, though, mostly new. About half good.

Yeah, I just played the whole album for the first time in a long time and remembered why that was - love the music, too much talking.
Great movie IMO, pretty amazing cast. There are a lot of clips on youtube - I thought there used to be one of the alley blow job but I couldn't find it:
Edit: This is probably the track Benny was looking for:
Edit 2: Aaand here's the alley bj (2:05):

I've always wanted to see Human Highway. I've read a lot about its making (Shakey), but have never found it anywhere. What a cast and crew.

I don't recall seeing Neil with Crazy Horse in a barn. Like Billk said... you'll find videos of Neil playing in his barn (Neil is with the Stray Gators) when he was doing Harvest.
Journey in to the Past has some of the barn footage. I've seen it with other documentary type films on YouTube but the get pulled down pretty quickly.
You can find tons of stuff on his site Neil Young Archives.

Meant to post this up way back when. Heard the tune just a bit ago and the light bulb flickered. Footy of Neil creating the soundtrack for Deadman. Pretty cool that he puts himself in front of the movie and developes it as it /he goes along. Acoustic deadman starts at about 4:20 and then he lays down the electric at about 17:30 for anyone that wants to just cut to it.
