My Nokian Haakapalita R3s lasted almost twice as long as any set of Blizzaks I’ve used, but I prefer Blizzaks for their winter driving performance for sure.

I bought rock tires for my jeep a couple times for just this reason and got 100K out of them through religious rotation. I'm talking fat tires with big treads. And they did just fine both seasons. (We only have two seasons in Reno, winter and august.)
Snow tires wear faster because they are soft. Rock tires are hard.

AT's are fine--but dial it back a bit. And I got 6 years out of a set of snows during the big stretch of drought years in the 2010s. That was driving on a lot of bare pavement but living in Truckee so still reasonably cold. It's heat that kills snow tires, not bare pavement.
