That's the correct screw for the two rear pivot heel holes if you have inserts in your ski, if not you'll need a low head screw with alpine threads.

L to R: Factory Pivot 20mm screw, CAST hardware pack 19mm screw, Slide Wright Pz #2 18mm screw.

The screws included in the CAST hardware kit for the break hold down / heel riser assembly are the closest replacement I've found for the long pivot heel screws.

As I was taking this pic I discovered that my work bench was energized... my old drill press was leaking voltage. Yikes, glad it was me that discovered it. It's probably been happening for a while but I happened to run out there with bare feet tonight

    How to replace brakes on look pivot ski bindings. FKS , Bend brakes , P18 , P15 , P14 , P12

    Old One:

Ha I made that when I was like 16. Glad it’s still getting use

I’m looking for some parts to resurrect an old pair of bindings if anyone is holding. I need the following before I call Rossi:

    1x plastic base plate
1x metal plate that goes under the plastic base plate
    1x half moon piece
    1x brake spring
1x Set of screws for the older style toes. Requires skinnier heads than the current low head options available

Let me know if you got any of those!

FS: FKS/Pivot Bindings: Used complete sets, and parts, mix-and-match

I recently purchased some pivot pedestals with GW afd’s to retrofit to an old pair of Rossi 155’s. I found the new pedestals were a tight fit and bound up in the old housings. They look to widen out a bit towards the base compared to the old ones. It isn’t much but it is enough to cause a problem

Anyone else tried this with success?

Tried to piece together a pair of P14's and most of the parts showed up not as described, so I'm looking for a few things to make them complete:

    1 GW AFD pedestal
    1 metal half moon
full set of screws (both bindings heels and toes)

WTB: Pivot 15 forza 2.0 ( purple yellow). Looking for a pair of pivots, GW compatible in some type of purple. Don’t even need to be 15’s, 14’s would be fine as well. Going on 107 waist skis. Must be willing to ship to Canada. PM me!!

Looking for 2 black complete heels prefer (85 brake, but can bend as needed). Setting these up for my wife with two 12 black toes, but open to 12, 14, and 15.

Have an older pair of grey 12s that I can offer up for trade or for others to buy as I have no plan for them. They have one brake at 75 (original) and one that was reset to use for a 100mm wide ski.

    Don't suppose you have 95s?

Thinking of swapping some 115s for 95s if anyone has some, currently on a pair of raw 15 heels from this year that haven't been mounted.

I have 1 pair of old stock, new in box, black FKS 155 with skinny brakes available if there's interest. Looking for ~$225 shipped in CONTUS. Will also ship anywhere for actual cost

Might be a dumb question - I have P14 and P15 and need to swap the brakes between the two. Is it better/easier to swap the brakes, or to take the dildo off and swap the dildo and leave the baseplate intact?

I have typically swapped out the brake and not removed the dildo. Takes a bit the first time but it gets faster and easier.

Definitely easier to swap dildos if you've never swapped arms before. Much easier to do on the ski or mounted to 2x4 since u can't get to the screws if the dildo is up. Lifting the dildo while not mounted to anything will get you looked(fingers pinched))

I've always swapped brakes (dildos) with bindings unmounted. And like SirVicSmasher mentioned, watch your fingers when closing the heel piece to access the screws

Never tried swapping already mounted bindings, so that could be easier

Thanks for looking and fingers crossed - might be even better if they happen to be smaller. Trying to mount them on an 88 waisted ski.

WTB: New or lightly used p12, p14, or p15 with a 115mm brake. I would prefer the p12 to keep cost down but am open to the others.
