TRAILER TRASH 2018 - Post 'em here!
I haven't seen one of these threads in ages. In the peak of sweltering heat from the atomic oppressor above, these trailers help get me through. Here's the first I could find:

Instagram has killed the ski movie IMO. Used to be a 5-6 ski movie per year guy. Now maybe I’ll see the TGR premiere with the 5,000 or so JONGS that show up for it at red butte and ooo and ahh over the same shit we’ve been seeing since 2010

Uuuuhhhh where the F is Hoji... No doubt a good crew, but no Hoji is like when Seth went missing from TGR... And with Johnny and Angel out TGR may be hurting a bit... TGRs movie last year did suck and all good things must come to an end...

Just assuming as on Angel's Instagram she only posted about shooting with MSP and nothing with TGR... Johnny I think is still shooting with TGR...

you realize its mainly the ski companies that dictate who will be in what ski movie right? Also, I'm pretty sure Hoji is in the midst of a two year ski movie project.
And I don't believe instagram killed the ski movie, but some of the best skiers out there have gone the way of doing more solo/indy projects with web releases. Kye Petersen's movies have been phenomenal.

Watch the trailer in this thread.
Instagram (and the web) has significantly hurt the ski movie, no doubt. No need to wait until the fall for ski movies, videos are everywhere. For park kids, instagram is everything. And companies are asking for more raw (shakier, iphone, etc.) followcams on Instagram, they perform better that way. Slick well-produced movies still have a foothold thanks to some older massive companies that sponsor them, like TNF.

WME's "Face of Winter"
Haven't been to one of these in ages, but since it's an ode to the MAN himself, and I know someone skiing in this film I'll go this year.Last edited by SILENCER; 09-06-2018 at 10:50 AM.

TGR's "Far Out"
(this looks incredibly cool)
Interesting Angel Collinson skied for both of the big boys this year, not sure I've seen that before.
