Jeremy Jones builds his snowboards in Dubai - a city built on oil money and modern day slavery. He personally jet-sets around the globe and builds his product in a location as far as possible from consumers. I call bullshit. John Muir would not be down with this.

And John Muir was a bigot who disdained the indigenous people around Yosemite.

Here's a couple of local productions:

"Evolution of Dreams", looks pretty cool. Kinda like the Unicorn Picnic offering from a couple years back on steroids.

I posted about this about a month ago and had some interest from a few people, but nothing definite.

Any Front Range Dads out there want to go to the Friday, October 5th Showing of this at the Oriental theater in Denver at 6:30? I'm going to take my 3-year-old daughter to this showing. The 9:00 is too late for her, but I get that 9:00 may be preferred for some.

Pretty much across the street is https://www.parisidenver.com/parisi/. We will get pizza there before-hand. Their happy hour goes 3:00-5:00. I’m going try to arrive a little before 5:00. PM me if interested. Even if you aren't taking a kid/s and want to meet-up shoot me a PM. Tickets can be found here: https://www.tetongravity.com/films/f...-by-rei-friday

Saw Hoji last night. Solid flick. The scenes of the whole crew mobbing pillow lines were great. I could watch hours of that dudes skiing -- he's the best at turning and the best at straightlining in the biz. And really -- what else is there?

Hoji is a really awkward dude in person. Obviously not at home on the stage.

Topper of the night is friend of mine won free Hoji boots, dynafiddles, and skins. Could not have gone to a more deserving dude. He's had spent all summer piecing together dollars for skis and boots -- we had just been talking on the way over about how all he needed was bindings and skins.

VERY stoked to see Sherpas Cinema with another offering. This looks certainly up to their self-imposed bar. Fingers crossed for an actual movie tour...I vastly prefer sharing films with (lots) of friends in a rowdy room.

    Just saw FINDING THE LINE

    https://www.findingthelinefilm.com/

Cool flick in that it had a "story" revolving around 2 sisters who have both competed professionally, got injured, felt they lost some of their mojo, and wanted to delve into how fear affects one's passion. They ski Whistler, Chamonix, and AK.

    Good stuff.

    This looks cool.

Bummer that it's only gonna be in Europe, though.

Hadn't heard of Before Blank until I saw this trailer. Seems to be a group of mostly Salomon riders doing their own production. Incredible skiing and cinematography.

I found and watched their film from last year, which was a real treat. Looking forward to this year's offering.

I'm leaning towards that's what Salomon wants us to think. Daiek killed in the trailer. Gonna watch Canvas after work tonight.
