don't they also make more low profile grips for the lady bikes?
I feel like my friend's Juliana has miniature thin grips for her tiny hands but I am not seeing anything immediately when I look at the specs online about them being smaller.

I'm running ESI extra Chunk 34mm and I feel like this may be a bit of a problem for me too. Gonna try some slightly narrower ones on my new bike.

Dan, I tried these on recommendation from a number of friends. One friend who rides a shit ton and works in a shop went to them specifically because he likes to go gloveless on the climbs. Loves them for that. We all ran lock ons exclusively for years and no one's had any issues with slippage. The ends might slip a bit when they get torn up and get dirt jammed in there. A proper end cap eliminates this though.

I use ODI CrossTrainers and have been satisfied coming from Ruffians. I think anything with some channels will work well gloveless (Sensus, Chromag palmskins, etc.)

Gloveless on the ups, gloves on the downs. Ride in CO (dry).

My wife hated that about the Julianas. I thought they dropped the bar size as well as the grip OD, though; is it just thinner grips? Even worse. Seems weird anyway--her hands are narrow, but her fingers are about as long as mine, so why a smaller OD?

Pretty sure there's a Trump joke in there somewhere; is all that sensitivity about short fingers a perspective problem? Like RT said--probably needs to loosen his grip.

chill out. 2 girls here make jokes about you having a LARGE penis and you get all bent out of shape. sounds like from your defensiveness that we were wrong

the juliana grip comment was separate and it was a real thing they did, so was just throwing it out there as well as a helpful suggestion to all whom might want to dodge an injury

    why you so mad?

No problems with foamies here. Silicone is still grippy when wet. Get good quality ones (ESI or similar) and put them on with isopropyl. Of course they're going to slip if you put them on with soap.

ESI Chunky + large bar end caps that protect the foam. Good if you don't crash a ton or ride in the rain. Any nicks or small tears can be touched up with home silicone.

Clean with alcohol and install with compressed air.

Dude WTF? A little harmless ribbing got you of the deep end. You're Canadian, not in tRump's America.

    Chill.

The plastic sleeve required for lock-ons makes foam grips either pointlessly thin, or exceedingly thick (for my tiny, tiny hands).
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
