So, the knolly is rad when ridden hard, but when timid and unsure its not very forgiving.

Rode the Ft. Ebey/Kettles trails this weekend. Haven't been here in 10 years. Fun XC network.

Went for more of a backcountry-esque ride this past weekend and caught the weather and view just perfect. View from the top of Alpine Baldy.

Took the dog along. I wanted to hike into a lake at the top, but ended up getting a little turned around down the wrong drainage so had to scramble out of that which killed about 90 minutes. Then the descent back to the car was a really long super fast descent... too long and fast for my pup so i was having to stop every 1 minute of descent to let him catch up, walk for 3 minutes then ride for another minute and repeat. He was fully beat at the car.

I had lunch, had a smoke and then decided on a quick 20 minute nap in the woods. As i was laying there i looked up and realized that the whole forest was covered in moss... but only starting like 20 ft up. Im guessing its probably because the snowpack is 15-20ft deep for 4-5 months out of the year? Anyways, good to put a big day in out in a more backcountry setting than im usually riding bikes in. You don't always have to ride the ripping trails to have a good day out on the bike. Next week ill go back to shuttleing and digging.

Nice shots. I need to check out the new stuff at Tokul. Happy to help dig too. No Service was running primo today. Kinda bittersweet though. Shit should be buried in snow.

Pedalled Rosy Boa in Leavenworth last night. Trails are rolling smooth, not too dusty/loose yet. Some goopy spots on the uphill. I need to pedal more, it about killed me.

Would not put the Giant Stance at the top of the list for purchase... but a free rental is a free rental.

Good to hear, need all the help I can get doing bikes and brews this weekend. My first race and my buddy convinced me to do Cat2. I may die.

The up on freund had some mucky spots, might want to make sure your rear tire has good traction

Nice! Planning to hit it on the drive up to Whistler this weekend, maybe spend a day or 2 there. I've been hearing good things from a few different people. Trails are easy to find? Everything is off that one logging road?
