Supposed to be East winds early this week, no bueno in Blue River for smoke. Good for Bend but not good for Highway 126 corridor to Eugene.

Down here we got moisture a bit later than WA - my ride yesterday was super dry!
And we probably did not get as much of it ... but hopefully it keeps coming down here all week, that ought to help with the smoke and trail conditions.

Day 2, Stage 2 hot damn. Sounds like some seriously big days in the saddle, but man, the views and trails sound so freaking awesome.

I rode one in the summer and loved it, but it was the prototype and it was half way between small and medium size. It was also set up as the shorter travel version and not in the slack mode.

Yesterday I took it on the trail formerly known as Cougar ridge (RIP) and it was really slippery and i didnt feel real confident but I wasnt sure if it was the bike or the sketchy, slimy fresh dirt plus it has a crappy rear tire for wet on it.

This morning I started to ride double black but I made my friend ride my Honzo and I made him give me the honzo and ride it.

Kinda disappointed because I really loved the prototype in the summer.

Friend said its set up kinda weird so Im gonna see about that and maybe take it galby and see how I feel on easy trails.
