I ordered the box set, and can’t wait. The art work is a big reason why.

The box set is truly amazing, best one yet for art. The tunes don’t suck either.

Culture sucks if you can't share it. Sharing is the whole point IMO. Truth is we are all related at some point. Come to Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel and everyone that wants to be is a real German. People try being exclusive about culture all the time and it's always a huge failure.

Dude the prefered nomenclature is first nations or indigenous, I would never actualy use the term " Indian " unless I was asking someone if they wana go for Indian at the Tandoori restaurant

when I said " cowboys and indians " that is like a John Wayenish tongue in cheek repeat of an old hollywood term

So the Brits didnt wana pay up so they never settled land claims in BC ... so its like their land eh

In the US, "Indian" is a perfectly acceptable term. Nothing wrong with "Native American", but we don't use "first nations", and "indigenous" -- while accurate -- is not used all that much either.
"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ
"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin
"everybody's got their hooks into you, fuck em....forge on motherfuckers, drag all those bitches across the goal line with you." - (not so) ill-advised strategy

Maybe in Canuckistan, but here in the real world (), ‘Native Americans’ call themselves Indians or by their tribal name. At least that’s what my Indian/Gwichin/Diné/Apache/Pueblo/Tewa/Tiwa/Keresan/Yurok...etc friends do.

Like Danno said. F’r instance, there is the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Indian Health Service to name just two US gov’t bureaus.
