Mid-race interview with Lawson Craddock yesterday after he dropped off the back, he seemed pretty suprised to have a mic shoved in his face.

I can't remember seeing a rider interviewed from a car during any stage except maybe while sipping champagne in Paris.

Anyone else find that an odd choice?

Didn't see it but yes, that seems odd.

Didn't actually catch it yesterday, but watching today's ttt now and they used it as filler before Team EF started their run.

I've enjoyed all the sprints thus far, but that one was fantastic. Greipel looking better than expected, ate a lot of wind and still almost got there. Gavaria just too strong, and Sagan with great positioning.

Gavaria scoring me big points again today!
That’s the way a sprint finish should be laid out. Straight run in with no road furniture, full sight lines, fair and safe.

Not sure who it was that made contact with Cavendish in the sprint...think he'll get kicked out?

Strong pick...don't know much about him, how will he fare in tomorrow's stage with all the rollers? Bobke's already picking Sagan.

Gavaria looks great. But tomorrow doesn't suit him. He's very fast, but he's also being delivered to the line by the best sprint train in the biz. That's a huge advantage he won't have tomorrow when there are numerous curves inside the final km, and an average of almost 5%.

Tomorrow is a day for Sagan, GvA, Matthews or maybe even Cobrelli who looked really good on Stage 2.

It’s going to take a climber/all-arounder to win tomorrow.
I wish I had Alejandro Valverde in my picks.

Disagree it needs to be a climber. Valverde would be good but doesn't have the incentive to waste energy this early as he's aiming for GC. Sagan, GvA, Matthews have all won stages in the Tour with final kicks that are steeper and longer than this. The bumps throughout the day aren't enough to eject any of them from the pack.

Tomorrow will be a day for the breakaway to win. A small group will stay away to the finish.

Cav cuts off Demare, then gets cut off himself and throws a hissy fit when it's done to him.

Not from me. I say it was overdue!

Index shifting was a new-fangled thing once
    Cable shifting is old hat

Tubless racing tyres and fade resistant brakes that work in the rain, sounds great to me.

Just a reminder, the TDF sponsored league allows 1 change each rest day (7/16 & 23). My guess is after stage 9 we'll need it.

BTW, props to whoever found this league...the ASO bullshit aside it's way better than Velogames, IMHO.

Downhill corner into the first sector of cobbles. 3 lane downhiller to a rough 1 lane cobble road.
