I'm in hot water, please help me

The simple "I want to get in to Mountain Biking, can I buy a trail bike so I can go ride with my friends" has quickly become, "Uh, honey this sick DH bike just followed me home (It was a good deal!!) so know I need a full face helmet, bike park pass, knee pads, 5.10s etc."

Which as you can imagine was not met with much excitement from Mrs. LWS.

So I have some gear that I need to sell:

    Skis:

190 Legend Factory (Aka Cham 117s.) Mounted once on the line for p18 at a 306 BSL. Skied them a little bit last season. Minty. $150 + ship
    SOLD
Look HM12 (aka Radical FT 2.0) with 110mm brakes. Toured on 5 days, never used in the resort. $250 + ship

    SOLD

    Gunfag stuff:
Surefire XC1 compact weapon light. Bought it, never used it. New in box. $180 + ship
TLR-1 HL in FDE. Lightly used. $80 + ship

    Can someone help me?

I have a potential buyer for the X106, but he wants them flat. Anyone want some lightly used PX12 demo bindings? I'll do $50 + ship

I never thought I'd participate in an activity that made skiing look affordable that is until I discovered mountain biking...

Do you guys ride more freeride type stuff? Or true DH type trails? I prefer freeride and jumping, over steep chunk true DH. Whereas in skiing I rarely ski park and prefer chunky off piste steeps. Total opposites for some reason.

Steep, technical, gnar with natural features all the way. I much prefer that over flow, and big man made jumps any day. I like to have to work at not putting a foot down. That is my kind of trail.

Skied this pair of X106 at big sky. Solid and very true ski..

I’d buy if didn’t have the overlap, bump. Congrats on the new addiction LVS!

might have a full face and knee protection laying around if it doesn't have to be all shiny and shit-
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

Might I suggest selling the wife and keeping the gear.

In business terms we can that win/win.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

Must be really bad if you're afraid to confront her without that kind of protective gear on..

Serious side, even with all that protective gear on it hurts WAY worse to fall off a mountain bike on to the rocky ground than it does to crash skiing down a snowy, slick trail..

The 3" x 12" bruise on my leg would agree.
