    Anyone have a Softopper?

Just put one on my tundra. Freakin love it so far. Did the standard dirtbag sleeping platform setup.

I want a tubular rack to go over the softopper to mount an RTT or my packasport on top. Looking at all the truck forums there are a ton of options for tacos but next to nothing for tundra. Custom fab? Anyone know of someone in Bozeman or elsewhere in the west that does reasonable custom work?

Darkhorse seems to have their shit together... not sure if they'd do that type of thing though.

Could you buy one of those tubular contractor racks and skip the custom part? Maybe wouldn't work with the fabric?

I think a custom one is your best option. You can try asking some local fab shops about the cost.

I toyed with picking up this system but never pulled the trigger. Offset mounts to go over toppers.

http://colminnxracks.com/ will back you anything you want. I'm sure there is something similar in MT. I have had a few lumber racks and theirs are the best.

I just picked one of these up and so far it's great. Perfect for my dogs.

With it off it seems like the pins are susceptible to getting damaged. Did you do any mods?

No mods. Ended up finally finding a used fiberglass topper for super cheap and sold the softopper.

Right on. I liked the easy on-off option and dog nose option...and yeah way cheaper than the glass ones unless you can find a deal like u did.
