So I saw this on my Twitter feed, and went to tell Mrs. Seano, cause she has one these goddamned things in our house.....She asks it if we should be worried, and it says "hmmmmm, I'm not sure".....!
So now I'm getting creeped the fuck out, and I tell it to play some music.....The fucking song that comes on??? 'Go Robot', by the RHCP.

I do not have any of these mainly because I'm old school and still walk over to the cd player and put in a cd to play a song I want to hear; but I would love to know what one of these things did if you started addressing them directly and told them to f off and f themselves.
I am sure someone has done this.TGR forums cannot handle SkiCougar !

If you have a smart cell phone without a removable battery or that you keep in a Faraday cage you can and likely are being listened to. Guess it's part of being an always on, connected society.

I have an old shitty flip phone that is rarely on and half the time i dont know where it is. My wifes dad got us the dot, and i it stayed in the box for months til I wanted to listen to npr one day.

I worked for an IoT firm. Automation. Data collection. It's cool tech, and I'm a sys admin by trade, but im still not all inon the "hey Google turn on the lights, and unlock the door" just yet. Maybe some smart thermostats, but that's about it for me. Originally Posted by Not bunion
