    Dynastar Vertical Line

Anyone know anything about these? Supposedly developed with the help of Vivian Bruchez. Dynastar has such a stellar history of downhill skis, I'm curious about how these feather sticks would hold up. I know the Mythic 97 had some great reviews, but have yet to hear anything about the Vertical Bear/Eagle/Deer line.

Actually considering this year Bear/Deer as a training&approach setup paired with inserted Dynafit/Silvretta, mainly because of steep discounts available around. As Vivian responded about the difference between them (quote): "the difference between Vertical Bear and Vertical Deer, is the shape and the construction. Vertical Bear (80 under foot) is more traditional, offer lightness, accroch, maniability. Ski touring ski. Vertical Deer (85 under foot) More modern shape, generous rocker, large tip, easy to ski in each kind of quality of snow. Stronger tail. Polyvalent ski."
So the Eagles look like higher-tech version of Deers with the same shape and geometry, and should be more like newschool take on classical skimo skis.

Do not know much about next season Vertical line though.
