FS: '15 VW Sportwagen TDI
Not many cars going FS in here, but screw it:
Selling our 2015 VW Golf Sportwagen TDI with DSG six speed automatic transmission. Bought last year this time (in Utah as you can see by the plates) when the 2015s were released following Dieselgate (this one has the proper modifications). 31,000 smooth miles in this German designed pavement kitty. Let the pur of the diesel TDI rule your commute while you get a minimum of 45 mpg (have gotten 59 over an extended trip with intentional driving!).
Leather seats, backup camera, Bluetooth, satellite radio if you want it, tons of space for passengers and cargo, and this special lovechild of German engineering even comes with a light duty hitch (good for bike racks, small trailers, etc) and a set of four snow tires.
S model, 150 hp @ 3500 rpm (this thing can MOVE with that diesel torque!), FWD. Come get it! In Portland, Maine
$16K OBO

Dieselgate actually hasn't killed the resale. This is just a good deal.
I also bought a stop-sale car last year. I love it.

That's gotta be a hot price. Cuz there's no way you can get a decent '15 used car with 31k on the clock for only sixteen grand.
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.

Saw the ad on CL, thought it was you. I'm car shopping but I'm all over the map right now from trucks and vans to wagons. I had a '10 one of these, sold it too early though and didn't get paid.
I'll think about it

My wife had a tdi wagon that we turned in. It was a great car. I’m glad to see that vw got their act together.

Love my 04 Passat wagon. Btw w an easy tune from Malone you could bump up hp/tq significantly fir more smiles/mile. 40-50mpg at 90mph all day long.

The only problem with tuning these is you lose the 11 yr 160k mile warranty.

Bump for a sweet ride. Got rid of our '05 TDI wagon last year for an overseas move... still miss it heaps. With a rooftop box it was the ultimate road trip vehicle. I also added airbags to the rear springs which really helped the ride when it was loaded down. So smooth on the highway, pulls like a freight train, no loss of power at elevation. GLWS!

I loved my TDI.
Last week the dealership didn’t tighten the fuel filter and it left me on the side of the road and dumped the entire tank of fuel.
Car now reeks and I’m fucking pissed.

I've almost pulled the trigger 3 times in recent months. My concern is space. I'm not a small dude, and my brother(main partner in crime) is 6'6". Would a 3rd person be too much to ask? Enough room for gear/tools N such? I think I remember you saying you're like 6'4" or something. So, enough space or what? Road trips w/gear gonna suck balls?

At 6'6" both in the front it might be a tough time in the back. I did a moab long weekend with three 5'10"-6' friends, all our gear, and three bikes and we fit fine (I think one bike had to go in th car).
If you rocket box it your space really opens up, but I never found I needed it as I rarely did long trips with more than one other person.
FYI for serious buyers may end up having to raise rh price a little to cover registration costs. Not sure yet but heads up

While I like my Alltrack, I do miss the MPG of the TDI. This is actually a good value.
