    Good TV Spinoffs

Sounds like an oxymoron since there have been so many duds, BUT I was wondering what spinoffs have you all seen that are actually good. I'll start:

    -Better Call Saul

When they announced this one, I was thinking it would be good for maybe a few laughs since it was involving our favorite comedic relief from Breaking Bad. Thought it would be a one-off single season thing at most. Welp, the show sure started out pretty good with typical draw you in Breaking Bad writing, but man it really gets going! Well done, Vince Gilligan! Now I'm in the middle of season 3 and I guess they just got renewed for a 4th! Who woulda thought? Not me. Anyway, I've been pleasantly surprised.

Indeed! Forgot about those. Not too long ago I was getting back into Cheers a bit. Great little show. Absolutely loved Mork and Mindy when I was a kid. Haven't seen it in decades though, so I wonder how well it holds up?

Which then spawned yet another spinoff, Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. Funny how the Andy Griffith Show is far more remembered than the show from whence it was born. Perhaps the same could be said for Frasier, although Cheers is still pretty popular.

Ooh, almost forgot. The Bionic Woman. Loved that show...or perhaps it was Lindsay Wagner.

Also, I might be alone on this one, but I really ended up enjoying Fear the Walking Dead.

Andy Griffith Show also spawned Mayberry RFD, which was awful.

    .
It's weird to me that six million dollar man lasted way longer on air than bionic woman yet it seems like bionic woman was more popular and longer lasting. Bionic Woman was in syndication rotation a long time. I don't remember steve austin getting any rerun play. Maybe it was the lesbian I lived w in college that worshipped her and somehow got the memo early that they were on the same team
