WTB: Black Diamond Megamid

Does anyone have an old Black Diamond Megamid with which they'd be willing to part? Looking for one for the NZ ski season. Shipped to 92116 (buddy would bring it over).

Last time I looked at Oware, there was no peak vent other than opening the zipper a bit from the top.

Mountain Laurel Designs makes excellent mids, cuben fiber if you have the $$$. 3D peak vent is similar to MegaMid/MegaLight, a bit better actually.

I used my 1986-ish MegaMid then 2000-ish MegaLight until each died a natural death, the ML after I sewed in a new (bigger, stronger) zipper. Then we got a MLD CF DuoMid XL (asymmetrical pyramid, very roomy for 2 plus gear with room to spare), which is still going strong.

With all mids, experiment with tilting the pole to get more sleeping room on one side if sleeping 3 in a MM or ML or if sleeping 2 in a smaller asymmetrical mid. Mids aren't for everyone. Each pitch is an engineering project, some easier than others. I find it kinda fun.
