    FS: M/L 2016 Chromag Surface

Selling my lightly used Chromag Surface to put towards another bike. The bike is barely ridden, I love it but its hard to justify this anymore with 3 other bikes in my garage. This is a handmade Canadian frame by Chris Dekerf. Beautifully made with excellent attention to detail and is stupid fun.

    Frame Specs:
    4130 Chromoly steel alloy
Size is M/L, 18.5 inch seat tube (I'm 6 ft. and prefer bikes a little small and am very happy with the fit)
148 mm x 12 Boost rear spacing, thru axle included
    Tire clearance for 29 x 2.5 or 27.5 x 2.8
    Threaded bottom bracket
    Tapered head tube
    Designed for 120-150 mm forks
    Internal dropper post routing

    Build Specs:
Fork: Rock Shoc Pike RCT3 140 mm, Boost spacing
Wheels: Easton AR 27 29ers, SRAM Boost hubs
Tires: Maxxis Minion 29 x 2.3 (almost new)
Brakes: Shimano XT, 180 mm rotors (freshly bled)
    Drivetrain: SRAM GX 1 x 11
Cranks: Race Face Turbine, 30t ring
Bars: Race Face Atlas FR risers, 785 mm
Stem: Race Face Atlas, 50 mm
Seatpost: KS Lev Si, 150 mm drop
    Saddle: Chromag
Grips: Race Face Sniper Lock On
I’ll throw in the Shimano pedals if you want them.

The bike has less than 500 miles on it and functions perfectly. The only thing worth mentioning is the wheelset came off another bike and have 2 seasons of use. Wheels are straight, round and true but show more signs of use than the rest of the bike.

Bike is located in central/northern Vermont. I'd prefer a local pick up but will ship at buyer's expense via Bike Flights.

Asking price: Price drop: $2400 shipped or $2300 local pick up.

    Great bike and great price.
I just bought a Surface and flew it to Killington to leave there for summer work trips.
I am in well over $2500 on my build.

Its such a solid bike to the Millstone chunk and tight trails. I just keep reaching for my Hightower for techy riding while the it collects dust. Plus I can get a deal on a new SC Blur which will perfect for my long XC rides.
