That was a beat down. Argentina could not get anything organized and Croatia was pressing all over the field. Kind of mirrors Iceland's style. Don't let the other team breath.

That was brutal. The Argentine defenders were literally just standing around.

Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.

With the Argentine economy crashing, this could push them over the edge back home. Thankfully their Navy cannot put anything to sea and they cannot martyr themselves by re invading the Falklands.

Seems like most of the ridiculous flopping goes away in the World Cup. Why can’t they do that for the rest of soccer?

Awful refereeing in the Croatia Argentina game.

Having the confidence to stay pressed up against the Argentine midfield and push Mascherano back into a center back role really paid off.

But Croatia are a dirty team. Could have easily had two players sent off.

It'll be a tragedy not to see Messi play beyond first round.

Brazil is looking pretty good. They are dominating and firing shot after shot but have yet to sneak one past the Costa Rican goalie who is having a great game.

If Nemar would have just continued on through that slight interference in the box he would have had an easy shot on goal. Instead he takes a dive.

Neither Iceland nor Nigeria diving around the field. They get knocked down and get right back up. I like that this keeps the flow going.

As much as I want Iceland to win I feel conflicted because if it were not for Nigeria I wouldn't have know about my deceased uncle leaving me 20 Million Dollars.

Crushing analysis of Argentina... played too much like an England team.

Nigeria earned this one (assuming Iceland doesn't score 2 in the next 10 minutes).
