Looks awesome ... at least till your bonehead buddy drops onto your spine, above you, and you get thumped in the back of the head with a bouncing rock knocked loose by aforementioned bonehead.
You need looser material though - at least IMO. St Helens might be a good option! You could even compare. Crank a summit and descent out now, on snow, and then later on scree! [If you're really ballsy, you could do the first ski descent into the crater! [I'd wear a helmet though! ]
I can tell you those bandits bend a lot easier than my Bodacious' did. If I'd tried that, it would have been the end of my bookcase/cabinet!

Took the summer off due to too much heat and drought wrecking the local soil/sand/gravel/scree conditions. Things are back to game on...finally.
Master of mediocrity.

I never did ski the Sand Blast event cuz skiing down a shitty gravel bank into a ditch with not enough hay was just too fucking scary so i did it on a freeride mtn bike and got the t-shirt
lotsa people got hurt, lots of gravel rash, i know Scott B one of the organizers broke a leg on a pre run and still walks funny decades laterLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know
