DT Swiss 350 freehub movement
I replaced my cassette last night and noticed a slight but if play in the cassette. I removed the cassette and the freehub exhibits the same motion/sound. Anybody know if this is normal or should I be concerned?
With the cassette attached, if I reach my fingers around the large cog and pull the cassette away from the hub I get a small movement and "thunk". I get the same movement and "thunk" when I push it back in toward the hub with my thumb.
Movement is imperceptible except for the noise. I tried tapping the end cap back in gently with a hammer, but I don't think it does anything.
Thanks in advance.

Guessing the free hub slid out a few mm when you pulled the old cassette. Just push down on the cassette/freehub to get it back on all the way. Regardless, tightening your axle bolt will do the same.
It’s designed to do that for “tool free maintenance”.
