Oh man. That's sad. She's not tiny either, for that lion to drag her into the woods is some powerful shit. Not the way I'd want to go. Very sad thinking about what was going through her head as this was happening.

I hate country, but Im from the south, so I dig folk/bluegrass like the avett brothers.

Wagon Wheel was my college's anthem (in the boonies of the southern Appalachian Mountains). Someone would always end up putting it on as the party goes into late night. Nothing like drinking some real moonshine as everyone is singing along.

Hence why I listened to it drunk at parties. Been about 5 years before today? I listen to industrial, rap, and electronic music.

Not in Bellingham. Not at all.

I can think of a few in several categories just off the top of my head.

Rumors of a lady having a cougar sighting at Galbraith.

I guess they both backed away from each other, near the north side of Bandito trail...

Probably just a normal thing.. kitties are known to be there, but so soon after the north bend fatality would be pretty nerve racking

The yr I graduated HS I almost hit a black bear in the finger lakes while making a beer run with a buddy. We were both tripping on acid so nobody believed us. Big ole bitch was running straight down the middle of the highway going in the same direction we were.

It was dusk and it looked like a big garbage can in the road till I got right on top of it. Had to lock the brakes up to avoid hitting it in its big fat ass.

The car behind me happened to be neighbors with the guy hosting the party so our story was eventually confirmed.

    That's all I got
If it's green, smoke it...if it's pink, poke it

A guy I knew hit a bear on his mountain bike in New Hampshire,he was in school at Plymouth State at the time he said he came around the bend smoking downhill and the bear filled the track. Said they both went flying, came to a stop, looked at each other and then ran in opposite directions.

    It was hungry, duh.

Last I heard it wasn't unusually underweight and the lab was working on an autopsy. I'm interested in the results so stay tuned.

Huh, I’m just seeing this now! That was me and my buddy, and I’ve never meet you, you lying bastard!
Yeah, happened in the fall on rt3 in Thornton, NH. Just north of Plymouth. We were going downhill. Not smoking downhill, ice. Going about 35mph, when we center punched the beast at speed. I heard the wind get knocked out of him, and his claws, scrabbling on the pavement. I went over the bars and landed backwards on my ass and then exploded my helmet. I jumped right up, I knew what we had just hit was stunned and pissed. Thankfully a guy came around the corner in a pickup. Scared him off.
Guy was like, did you just hit that bear, yes sir, we did. He loaded us into his truck and drove us to the hospital. My buddy had fractures in his back and some wicked road rash on his face and back. I had a hematoma on my ass and a concussion. My buddy’s bike was trashed. Mine needed a new fork and front wheel.
Oh and, fuck off icemang, you lying sack!
