Was yanny at first then it goes to Laurel. The moment when it does is really weird. I had to focus on looking at Laurel and it did it.
The other thing is now that I've heard Laurel I have not been able to hear yanny again. I've gone back like three times and it's always laurel. So weird.

I can hear them both. Yanny is a high voice, Laurel is a low, croaky voice. If you can't hear the Yanny at all, you're an old.

Both the wife and I can hear both but it takes some effort for me to here Yanny.

Wife heard 'Morril'. I heard Laurel. There's a click or something where I suppose it is trying to say Yanny. And FTR, I am a freak, but clearly not that kind of freak.

Yanny through laptop speakers, laurel through headphones. Bass response/frequency issue?

Yanny is high frequency, Laurel is low freq. they are over-lapped, which one you hear is typically an age thing. As one ages, they lose the ability to hear high frequencies. Iceman may have stumbled across the fountain of yutes....
Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.

Middle kid hears something approximating Yanny. He's definitely a freak. Hates loud noise, finds it painful. He's known for 'bionic hearing'. Oldest kid hears Laurel.

Seem to remember an article about shop keepers in the UK using a device based on this idea to irritate younger people loitering around their shops.

FWIW, I'm single sided deaf, no right inner ear, nerve snipped. I may well have heard both before surgery
