Long shot kids books for sale

I know, I just can’t bring myself to simply donate but that’s next.

We have 12 boxes of kids books, for ages newborn to first grade. Wife is a total book fiend, but it’s paid off...kids read really well.

I’d like to get $300 for the whole lot, pick up only. There are literally thousands of dollars in books.

Bring them to new Mexico. They will surely fit in your carry on.

Those llama llama books are an abomination. I can't bring myself to read any of them to my daughter. My very first book of colors, otoh is a classic. Highly recommended for teh kidz...

Take them to a used book store and get a quote. Don’t think they will offer you $300, though (speaking from experience).

You would be lucky to get 50 cents a piece from a reseller. My daughter set up a table in the front yard when she was about 8 and sold a bunch of books to neighbors with small kids.. She sold them for $1-$2 each and that seemed to be the sweetspot for the price elasticity around here. You might be able to eek out more like $10 for the most sought after ones on eBay but you'll also need to factor in shipping and the value of your time listing, managing, going to stand in line at the post office, etc. If my kids don't want to sell (insert old, no longer used item) in the front yard we just drop them at a charity thrift store. Not worth the hassle for a few pennies..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

I feel like they had an unexpected hit with the first llama book and now they are just cashing checks.

Pete the Cat is far superior.

    I’d be psyched with .50 a book!

Truth! But even that first llama book bugged the shit out of me - the meter of the rhymes is just off.

Yeah, assuming he itemizes the best part of this is you can claim what they might sell for at a store, not what you'll get selling them to the store. You probably can "save" on your taxes pretty close to the amount any store would give you to buy them.
