Probably 99% of America has been logged at least once. Also, everyone should read 1491. You think everything was just unmaintained, undeveloped wilderness before the 15th century? Nope. A lot of it became that way, but that was because of smallpox.

I've never heard of that publication but it and that kook should just be ignored.

Nobody is dusputing that our ancestors did a lot of harm to the land before us, but with the population growth, we continue to expand and destroy small parcels of wooded land piece by piece.

Every trail we have built has dbl tracks running thru the middle of them. Stone walls, barbed wire, defunct old dams, and just steel litter is everywhere. But at that time, down the street didn't have a HD, Kohls, Dicks, CVS, and a couple hundred track homes either.

The people not having kids are saving the world...kinda, sorta, maybe

This. The areas with active logging and/or reforestation have already been altered by human activity, and (should) have erosion controls etc in place are fairly hard to argue against. And most towns in the west have one (or a dozen) within riding distance.

Making up statistics to prove a point squashes the point, along with your credibility.

Dude, Abraham is STILL at it, or was the last time I checked r.s.a a few months ago. Fascinating really, would be an interesting psychological study of him and Vandeham.

Maybe, but he's not far off.

Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
