    Thanks for posting.
    Got flown out of city of rocks 11 yrs ago after decking from a ways up. My partners and I reflect on it often, and I happen to see the others that responded on scene around town semi regularly. Lotta respect for the folks in the chopper.
    Good to read this and be reminded as another winter and bc experiences begin

    from my perspective of dealing with a family where buddy didn't come home it can be hard for those who were left behind for years down the road

    anniversary of the incident, the month leading up to the event, important events, hell even hearing about an accident on the radio is a stress trigger ... pretty much everything

    you can't live life in a bubble but think about what you leave behind
