Bluebird day - trying to balance the racoon face - managed to drop my helmet off the Summit lift at the high gate above cathedral cirque. Casually watching a slow motion bowling ball roll into the abyss of a rock band. Three sweeps before gaining Ill AdvisedStrategy/SnowAddict and on the ride up IAS spots it on top of a bamboo pole 1000 meters downslope.

IAS long past the ugly of Nebraska

Plenty more pictorial splender when eurobbi ends me thinks

Friday broke blue. More friends in attendance led to splintering of the factions. Oldsters went cruising, bucks went hiking for pow.

    Fantasy Ridge bootpack:

    Wolverine:

    Superior and environs:

Watched this kid slay the ridge next to Shot 22 (?). He almost made the double out the bottom!

Muted and I broke from Dibs & crew to hit two slopes instead of one. Last chance for sunpow before it got cooked. He's a damn good skier.

After dogs and chicken from the grill and a couple beers, we grabbed yeti, east or bust, and dibs to go back out the limber pine gate into silver fork.

    yeti:

    muted:

    east or bust:

    muted:

Returning victorious to the parking lot, we discovered Brock Landers in his work duds, fresh from the east coast

    afternoon cruising:

    mono!

apres with a motley crew, before the party at Dibs':

It was a GREAT time. Such good conditions and weather. Thanks to everyone who showed up to ski and party, especially Ill-Advised/yeti... really good to meet you and share a few turns.

This thread is so full of win it hurts.

It makes me happy to be part of such a great community of ripping skiers and all around awesome human beings.
It makes me sad that I suck at life and thought I was winning, staying in a ski in/ ski out condo at O.K.mo that week. Truly missed an epic trip here although I did have fun schralping the southern VT gnar.. guess I’ll be another year older when I do

Solid work boys (and girls) and thanks for posting all this stoke. FKNA indeed

I can't even imagine the stories random people must have from me and SVS that day at Alta. I saw some jaws drop back there in wildcat.

they say there are two giants who randomly appear in the moguls of wildcat
    ....
nobody has ever seen them again

Heh, it was a blast watching the two Wookies hammering down Wildcat bumps.

    The earth shook.
