Update. Talked to her again last regarding our sock-tual encounters, and told her that I would wear them fewer times if she toned it down a bit. I also used the opportunity to ask about including more footwear into her routine, citing the issue of grip-ability on the linoleum floors. To my surprise, she was open to the idea of incorporating it into foreplay. I'm slowly working her up to the furry costume, but the time hasn't come for that question yet.

Just to be clear, I'm also okay when she doesn't want to take her bra off at times, so think my leniency earns my right to wear a nice pair of socks in return.
