Skin Length Concerns...

Looking to buy a set of new skins off a guy for cheap

Black Diamond Ascension Nylon STS 140 MM

There is no length indicated on the box or anything but the guy says the "nylon" part is 6ft long = 183" cm

My skis are 187cm

I've never skinned and am wondering if they're too short for my skis?

Seems like after the tail clip and the top clip, slightly moved down the ski, i should be fine for length?

Am I right to assume they'll work?

They'll work fine. In fact, you'll probably still end up trimming the length when you install them since "skin length" is always several cm's shorter than true ski length.

Supposedly they run pretty true to size like maybe 186cm but thanks for the heads up!

Remember, the tail clip and tip loop fixtures end up putting the skin itself well back from both ends of the ski. Skins don't run "tip-to-tail."
