I knew Tony a little back in the day. He was a solid dude. This sucks.

    Damn. That’s awful.

He was a kindred soul to many of us.
I remember his great TRs and positive comments on others TRs.

Makes me really rethink my tendency toward the solo tour.

    RIP

Well, shit. Sorry to hear about Tone. He always politely answered my PM's. Tried to ski with him a few times, but it never was in the cards. Always was delighted when he posted photos of Bridger and knew he was just recovering from a knee injury.
Risk acceptance is the name of the game I guess, and I guess so are the levels of reward versus consequence. Trying hard not to think about what my snow sliding experience was yesterday. Could have gone a lot worse.

Fuck yeah! Amazing stoke. Just incredible powder pics, it's so cool tone took the time to stop and shoot all those photos on such epic blower days for others to enjoy. Thanks ghosthop for hunting down those posts and putting them in here.

I am among those who didn't know him personally, but I'm sure that in our years at Bridger Bowl our paths (or our tracks) have crossed. Listening to Tele Matt talk about their times together, as well as everyone's kind words here make me wish I had known him. The world lost a good man. Ski in peace.

So sad. I’m bummed I never got the chance to thank him in person. He without a doubt influenced my move to bozeman through his endless stoke and amazing photos on here. An inspiration for many. Was gonna ski with him last year a couple times but it never worked out. This one hurts a lot. RIP Tone Capone
