I can tell from his posts that Tone was super stoked to get into the mountains and share those experiences with others. My thoughts go out to all who knew him personally - get out and ski a few laps for him.

I have been meaning to post something and every time I start I haven't really known what to say. It's obvious that he touched a lot of lives, even those of people who never met him. That is some pretty serious worth of a life in my mind and more than most people accomplish. RIP Tone Capone and thanks for all the stoke you brought to this forum and Montana. Vibes to the family and know that his was a life well lived that left a very positive impact on others.

Oh man, I don't get to this part of the forum often enough so just heard about this a few hours ago from his best friend from childhood.
I've known Tony since he was in high school and his dad is a friend that I've known just as long. I've worked on their bikes, ridden with them, worked on their skis and been a friend for a long time. This is a tough pill to swallow It's even harder for me because another part of his HS crew died in an avy in Steamboat a while back and that kid worked for me for a few years. I hadn't talked to Tony in a while, he called me occasionally up until about two years ago when he seemed to have gotten busy so I got updates from dad when I saw him.
RIP Tony you will be missed

I’m sorry to hear about a longtime mag, local, friend to many, passed on to the forever white room. Thoughts to everyone affected.

Ohhh no. Sounds like he had some good friends here and that he was a good friend. My condolences to the friends and family that got to share their life with him.
Always loved his stoke, what a ripper and cool dude. He was generous with posting stoke and it sounds stoking people IRL.
RIP 2 Turn TonyEducation must be the answer, we've tried ignorance and it doesn't work!

Heres a link to the video we made for Tonys service. Grab a beverage and check it out.
His parents were overwhelmed by the attendance and support of the local ski and bike community, especially everyone who has posted to this and the sw montana threads and dug up some of Tony's old witty posts.
Thank You.
