Met Tony 12 or so years ago through this very forum. Ended up becoming a great friend. Many, many good times had with Tone Loc/ 2 turn Tony/ Tone Capone. Was an awesome human being and will be greatly missed. Still breaks my heart to see my last text to him still unanswered. You may be gone but you left us with a ton of stories and laughs. Slarve and carve on my friend wether it be on skis or bike. You will be missed!

Very sad to see this thread and to see Tony was alone and buried for 75 minutes. Please guys, if skiing alone, have an airbag backpack and better yet, ski with a friend. So sad to see this happen. My best wishes to his family and friends.

Around 10 years ago, mtnbikerskierchick and I had an amazing road trip to MT and interior BC, and we met up with and were kindly given a place to stay by many awesome mags including Tone and also Gripen (also RIP). Such a great trip. Just a few years ago, Tony talked us into an impromptu trip to Cooke City. What an amazing place, and we skied some super fun lines. Tony was a good one. I was so scared reading the MT thread last night that it might be Tony, so sad that turned out to be the case.
