If these were the 196s I’d grab them in a heart beat. I’ve sold my Protests twice now and every time I have sellers regret. I keep thinking I should sell some Shiros and go all mad scientist with Keith and build a pair. Then I remember I don’t really need them, a skinner ski is just fine, but damn the Protests are fun!

Someone’s going to love these for what they are. Free bump for GNU

I do not understand this need/fun bit at all??? Skiing is fun + Protests make skiing funner = someone buy these skis and have more fun skiing...

$440 and I'll throw in the skis/binders (just kidding, my wife will kill me if the cherub is MIA).

Price drop bump. My ski storage area is intolerably crowded.

FS: 187 Praxis Protest (Stained Glass Trees top sheet)

Absolutely blown away these have not sold. One of, if not the best pow ski design. Hell of a deal as well.

    You buy now!

Protest veterans - how's the 187 length? 6', 165, like skis in the high 18xs, but with this sort of pow shape I figured the 192 would be better. Tempted, though...

At your weight I doubt you would have any issues at all with these. You don’t really hear about people saying the 187s feel too short or have a speed limit.

Mount them at -1 to -1.5 and forget about it

Of course, I have a vested interest in selling them and (having caught a few of your posts) I believe you live in the Front Range.

At your height, I'm guessing you're running a BSL in the 312-325 range. We can explore the layout - how to achieve a -1 to -1.5 mount with your BSL with minimal holes. Of course, if you don't want to run Wardens, then there will be extra holes.

I'm thinkin' there's so much recent stoke for veneer, that folks forget how good a nylon topped Praxis can be - that, and it's still early in the season.

No doubt, a lot of folks have big feet and loose ski boots. I'm a touch under a 9.5 street shoe and run 25.5 Langes ... plenty of room ;-) My boot guy is about an 11 street show and fits himself into a 26 shell. Of course, he has a lot of time to punch ;-)

What muggy said. I’m just a touch shorter but have you by 30 lbs and have zero issue on the 187. My 188’s are mounted 102.5 ish from the tip. It’s $$$. I did do a custom 192 tho.

Bump for ree-dic-U-lous, low tide pricing. Their new owner is out there and you just don't know it yet.

Save me from going all LVS and deciding to not sell them.

I was getting to the point of not bumping this add and raising my price in January ;-)
