I'm stealing this from somewhere on Twitter.

Justin Bieber currently looks like a barely employed roofer.

(No offense to the roofers around here.)

Through acquisitions my company joined with two other companies of similar size a few years ago, each of us operating on different software platforms. The platform created by my company was regarded by our staff to be the only viable option moving forward because it is the only platform that meets all the security and operational requirements of our govt/military/corporate customers. Management of the third company "won out" during restructuring and decided we would move forward with its platform. Fast forward through 2 yrs of constant system issues and our new management team decided to change direction and go with our company's platform after all. That was 2 months ago. Today, HR and head of engineering are out here laying off our entire engineering department. You know, the only people who really know how our platform works.

Well after two years of incompetent decision making and bumbling, management finally makes a good decision. Then they turn around and fire all the people who can make that decision successful. Yes I find that amusing.

Picture of young female should be replaced with Roy Moore.

    On his horse.

One for all the Australians and Dentists

Google ordered to reveal author of Australian dentist's bad review

An Australian court has ordered Google to identify the person behind an anonymous bad review of a dentist.

Dr Matthew Kabbabe, a teeth-whitening specialist in Melbourne, sought the order so he could sue for defamation.

    What a douche.

Just move on, and try to get more good reviews.
I wondered if trolls had been seeking revenge, and sure enough his website is down

A solid line of stop and go west bound traffic along Donner Pass Rd along the lake, despite the sign at the east end that says no freeway access and the cops turning people back east on the freeway. Meanwhile the freeway traffic is slow but steady. Everyone glued to their phones, believing what their phones tell them instead of what the cops tell them.

From my ex who was talking to someone about not running to Costco to stock up on masks and TP. My guess is her coworker didn't listen...

All the fools driving around at night without their lights on. There always seems to be a good samaritan who will pull in behind them and flash brights to try to let them know. But they just drive on, oblivious. Usually they have daytime running lights on but the one I saw tonight didn't. Kinda dark out there, eh?
