I'm in CT for my 12 yo's "Nationals" dance competition. I can't even begin to list the things here that amuse me.

Currently hiding out in the car outside a hotel and still being amused. This poor guy from Virginia made sure his good Hawaiian shirt was freshly dry cleaned and ready for the weekend...

I grew up in a swamp in MN; those little lightning bugs were the highlight of summer nights. We would smear their bodies on ours and glow like freaky zombies. We were assholes.

Every year I get more and more bothered by harming animals lower and lower on the senience scale, but I still think it's ok to kill bugs, except bugs like spiders that kill other bugs. Wish I could get my wife to leave spiders alone.
