A pygmy elephant would be way cooler. It could hang out under the kitchen table and flop it's trunk up to hunt around to scraps. Just think about it. Fucking epic.

Your kids could ride it to conquer the neighborhood like Hannibal (provided the neighborhood doesn't contain any high passes) or a Maharaja.

I was walking down the sidewalk in my neighborhood with a baby in a stroller and a dog on a leash. We passed a couple girls, probably 7 or 8 years old, playing in a front yard.

    One girl said, "Hi."
    So I said, "Hi."
Then the other girl, who was looking straight at me said, "Shitstain."

Getting two “the seller sent you a private offer” on the same item, within 12 hours, from eBay when the second offer is more expensive than the first.

I've had that happen and called them out on it. Ended up with a sweet hard to find lens for a reasonable price.

I tried to do something like that in a department store when I was a kid. It ended badly.

I was kind of amused by the people on my flight earlier today freaking out about the horrendous turbulence. I was so hung over that death seemed preferable.

    Maybe that's not funny.

That video was faked (sound was faked), but i still love the spirit of that #raddad. You need to know the code these days to be able to use the intercom, it's not the carefree days of yore. A long time ago I picked up a Walmart phone and called all associates to aisle xx (I don't remember which one) for a shoplifter. I was kicked out amazingly fast.

Saw a truck yesterday with the winch hook hanging about an inch off the pavement doing 40-50mph. Seems like an exciting game to play

I took a ride through the park and saw a lady on some weird contraption called an Eliptigo. Sort of a hybrid of a bicycle with an elliptical machine pedaling setup. I was curious about them and just googled it and see the entry level model costs $2k. WTF?

I used to see one or two of those almost every day driving to work, never knew what they were called.

The only thing more ridiculous looking than the machine is the smug look on the rider's face, like he know's something you don't know.

Yeah, as a former runner whose knees no longer tolerate that kind of impact, I briefly considered Elliptigo and decided I didn't want to telegraph that I'm an asshole -- better to let people find out slowly, over time, the natural way.

Apparently, there are five great reasons to ski Telluride this-coming winter.

    Wheeeee!
