You think the members play those fast greens for daily play? They would die if they were kept that hard and fast.all the time. Course will be playable for the ladies.

Is it me or are they all slurping the event and the golfers even more than usual this year? Holy shit, I'm embarrassed for Finau.

Uh, Phil Mickelson has 43 career wins on the PGA tour - 9th all time - and has won 5 majors.

Sure, he's choked away the US Open a few times but, uh, yeah, totally unclutch. I wish I could suck that much.

In looking up that stat, it's interesting to see that Sam Snead still has three more wins than Tiger.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._PGA_Tour_wins

On the other hand, Tiger is 3rd all time on European tour wins, which is crazy... the next American on that list is Phil with 10.

While Harmon says it’s mental, the numbers reflect that Fowler has some glaring performance issues with dramatic drop-offs from a year ago in strokes gained putting (2nd to 106th), sand save percentage (1st to 60th), driving distance (41st to 114th), approaches from 50-125 yards (18th to 197th) and putts made from 10-15 feet (2nd to 197th).

If you hear somebody yell "change for a nickle!" after a tee shot, that'll be yours truly.

Ha, it will only happen once so we'd better catch it. Security does not fuck around at Augusta... and if someone is there via someone else's connections, said connections have been known to be revoked for behavior even if it wasn't them.

I was there today and yesterday, what an experience. Spent a lot of time milling around Amen Corner, the 10th tee box/fairway (where I subsequently ran into Dikembe Mutombo) and the area over by 16/6/5. Ultimately walked every hole but definitely took some time to stay put around those areas.

The merchandise "tent" is on a different level and looks like a cross between Saks 5th Ave and a Carnival tent.

I actually spoke with a gallery guard for quite some time, that is the gig to have if you can get it. You are a volunteer for life once accepted and have access to play the course once per year along with unlimited privileges to play the Par 3 course - not to mention once you "retire" you receive one badge per year for the rest of your life.

It seemed like JT was in the zone and really examining every green. He had multiple groups playing through him (he was playing solo) and spent on average 10-15 min on each green putting to every expected pin position. My money is on him to take it home this year.

10, 18, and 13 were my favorite holes. I couldn't imagine having a 1 shot lead on Sunday and having to put a drive in play on 18

Jim Nantz Handing His Tie To A Senior On The Winning Team After Every Title Game Is The Cockiest Move Ever

His ego is in the stratosphere.

it's going to be brutally painful to walk 18 holes and take 40 hard swings on a recently dislocated ankle.
