A vegan lifestyle isn't any better for weight loss than any other lifestyles. Vegan junk food is still junk food.

A variety of reasons.

Originally I became vegetarian for religious purposes. I have made a spiritual commitment to not harm other beings. That leads to the second reason. I love animals. Always have. Eating then has never felt right to me.

Of course there's also the environmental reasons. Long term eating animals is not sustainable.

Looking forward to using my sharp point teeth to tear into a lab grown hamburger in the future.

1) Define "give a fuck".

2) It's an opportunity to get to know a maggot better.

3) It's a chance to ask (iceman: AMA means "ask me anything"....one time the American Motorcycle Association wanted people to ask them anything and the world nearly impoded) and maybe learn something.

4) You're not the only reader. Discussions of interest to others may not be of interest to you. It's not necessary for you, personally, to give a fuck for it to be worthwhile as a whole.

Let's take industrial commercial meat out of the discussion for a moment: if you had access to fish you caught from a nearby waterway or deer who need population control, chickens you own and know to have a nice life...still not feeling it?
