It exploits bees duh. It's ok to use bees as slaves to pollinate the veggies, but be damned if you eat the nectar they produce from that pollination. Don't you know bee hives are like little bee sweatshops?

Honestly I don't have much of a problem with honey. My wife is a little bit less forgiving and her vegan ways than I. Generally her and other vegans are opposed to any situation where we are exploiting animals for our benefit.

You do realize that most orchards and some veggie farms keep bees or have an arrangement with bee keepers to insure their fruit flowers are all pollinated, right?

The bees are taken from their homes and placed in places to suit humans needs.

Enslaved... sometimes they are given sugar water before enough pollen is out.

Seems like if honey isn't ok then anything pollinated by kept bees shouldn't be ok, either.

Seriously, there's no vegan rule book. Some vegans are so hardcore as to say that pets are of the table. I, on the other hand, an trying to convince my wife to let us get a puppy once the babies are older.

General rule of thumb is to do the best we can. I've never heard a vegan judge someone for using a seeing eye dog, but I'm sure you could find one.

They give the sugar water because they took all of the honey.

I see your point about the kept bees and pollination. Just like any way of life, veganism isn't perfect.
