Hagan Y[wai] Drive reviews?
Has anyone skied the Hagan Y Drives or any of the confusingly-named Y[wai] series? Wondering if the 178cm length would make a good spring/summer ski.

Currently on old 170cm Dynastar Altitrail Verticals, which have pretty good edge hold but are so narrow (75mm) that I never end up taking them out except in very late season. These look like they might be better in soft snow but the only reviews I've seen have mentioned bad edge hold and poor stability, which does not make them sound like a great replacement.
Reviews I've found:

https://www.skitest.com/Ski/Hagan-Wai-Drive (paywalled, but right away they mention poor stability).
Thoughts? Should I just look for more deals on ZeroG 85s?
I'm 5'9", 135lbs, and mostly tour on 177 Huascarans, so I imagine 178cm would be fine but possibly on the long side for big slogs.Last edited by Toddball; 03-28-2018 at 03:45 PM. Reason: personal/sizing info
