Long Board Day has always existed, but the first time I participated it was small crew--Skier666, his cousin, Walter Sobchak, and a dude from New Zealand.

Damn. I remember in the '90s when 205cm K2 GS Race skis were my every day driver. Not so hot in the bumps, but like skiing on rails at speed. My wife dumped them without my permission. Grounds for divorce.

I'll be there in spirit as usual...
Greydon - it was 2005 and it was one of those awesome Spring days with around 1 foot of new. Therefore, we took a few laps on the big dogs and then grabbed our normal gear to hit the goods and sidecountry. The kiwi was Geoff Small.
THE RARE PHOTO EVIDENCE OF THE START OF THE REVOLUTION!
That afternoon went like this...(you know for the archival LBD purists)

I would totally do that but I dont have a grill atm. A friend never gave me back my camping stove after I moved, and I got rid of my charcoal grill as I was out of room in my pod.
Excuses excuses... I should man up and buy a new stove/grill

Looks like the forecast matches the general pattern of the season - great weather mid week then turning around Friday sometime for the weekend skiers.
Picking up a keg at Fremont tomorrow, what's the food situation? I'm thinking about prepping something. Any suggestions? Looks like it might be a good time to hang under tents and eat.

I am hoping that someone has some longboards for me to use that'll fit my tiny 295mm boots.

Not so tiny... I bet you'll get a ride or two.

Another 296mm boot without boards checking in. Would also rock 210cm+ on 3-pin gear if anyone has that.

Just snagged 8+ lbs of flank steak to marinate for manana and will have the grill up.
My LB fleet is set up for 325 BSL so should be able to get in a 335 for those in need.
