The Prime is their plugin hybrid version of the RAV4 - it's got a 40 mile electric-only range and does 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. It even beats the Supra in a few different speed tests.

Toyota only made 5k of them in 2020, and 20k (expected) will be delivered this year. They're selling like hotcakes.

    Wow.

Still a RAV4 at the end of the day but nice.

Wife just bought a new Hybrid CRV Touring model. Not impressed. 29mpg average around town and when I hit the EV button it lasts a few minutes full electric before it converts back to gas.

    Not a plug in though.

Havenít done a road trip to test but the advertised 40mpg seems a stretch.

40k buys a lot of gas.

    Hmm. Fast forward.
I'm at the retirement home 40 yrs from now watching the Mecum Indianapolis auction. When the hammer hits at $1 million I'll be saying to myself, "Goddamn, Bobby did it again."

Well folks. That color scheme reminds me...I took the plunge and put in an order.

    Hells yes, TR!

And I agree with Bobby probably killing it by mothballing that rolling crime scene.

I used to really hate Bangle body BMWs, but in light of grille wars, I'm starting to get nostalgic.
