Does anyone know anything about racing simulators and home set ups? My 10 year old is getting fairly serious with kart racing.
Also got some 911s for sale. Practical family cars. Good for a track weekend or two....

I started working on BMW's in the 80's. (before the internet) All of our instructors at BMW school referred to them as Beemers. The internet came around and a bunch of message board nerds decided they were Bimmers. It soon became akin to magazine/clip and fanboys telling people they were wrong.

iRacing is the standard I think. Fanatec if you're spending money, but the Logitech isn't bad. Wheel is much better than the pedals.

Is Bimmer Beemer like pop vs soda?
Feels like I hear Beemer more on this coast.

I don’t want to distract from the conversation, but I could swear that’s a Benz, no matter how it’s spelled.
I still call it The Jake.

I'm in the bimmer camp. But the only cars I was working on in the 80s was RC ones.

The wagon was in the shop for something or other. Not sure what the deal is with it.
