Now even the fucking Subaru and Toyota dealers have a reception desk at the door. They ask if you have an appointment.

Just tell the young lady, "No, but I'm here to make it rain for someone." They'll get you right in.

You've got it wrong - salespeople have endless time to kill (especially with very little on the lot). Burning 2-3 hours for another $500 means I'm losing money relative to wage/personal weighting of time worth. Also, most of the time you're faffing about with someone who doesn't have the slightest bit of power in the process.

That's the second mention of caviar in as many pages. I'm gonna have to track some down (likely paddlefish since we don't want to promote the Russian industry).

Don't be jealous. Sorry you still have one car and that old job you hate. Hope it turns around for you and you become a baller like Bobby. Honestly. Just remember to treat people well when you get to the top. No one likes a Mega-Karen.

To the other dude. You can find my best photos on my Onlyfans site. Just search for my name.

I do like the 90s cars though...

All I'm saying is car salespeople are people too. I'm just trying to discourage the wham bam thank you ma'am approach.

What do we have there, a Mitsubishi 3000GT?

I thought Onlyfans was for chicks showing off their goods. I'm missing a whole car culture site?

    Yeah, I'm confused too.

Is there a secret car portion of the site that caters to mid-90s teal sportscars?

I'm worried about going down some Viva-like rabbit hole looking for simple's car collection.

They're an active impediment to the process in my experience. Very few know more about the cars than I do, and in a MSRP or close deal, why do we need to be talking for more than a few minutes?
I have enough vendors up my ass trying to be fake friends at work, don't need it here too. Most appreciate a quick sale and no bullshit.
Then again, I generally do the research to understand what I want and relevant decision dimensions, which they help shepherd others through.
Sales in general can suck my dick. I can count on one hand the number of useful salespeople I've ever met.

I'm a buyer so I deal with salespeople all day every day. I love em. As long as they're working on commission then it's easy to understand each other. I love a competent salesperson cuz it makes my job easier. Just wish a higher percentage of them were competent.

That said, I paid MSRP for my gladiator a year ago and felt like I was getting bent over. But now I see that they're going for 22% over sticker and it blows my mind. No freaking way I'd have handed over an extra 10k or more...

Uh oh. Watch out. Not playing ball by paying more than MSRP makes us a couple of Karens according to Simple.

Seriously. My sales guy was actually solid on this one and understood I wanted to be in and out.
Even in big tech, there's a ton of morons flinging absolute bullshit. At least car mistakes are in the thousands, not millions when it turns out they were 100% full of shit.

Majority of Americans are paying over MSRP right now. Pretty much every car out there. Some more than others.

Toyota dealership in Burien is selling a 4 year old Tundra with 28k miles for more than msrp on a new one.
I can't with that kind of bullshit. I've bought two trucks from them in the past. Never again.

I sold a Lamborghini yesterday for $233,000.00 over msrp. Trade was an AMG GT Black Series and I had to pay $160,000.00 over. Its pretty wild.

Surprisingly it's more cost effective to finance a new Tundra (60k) than it is to outright buy an older Tundra (30k) purely due to the increased fuel efficiency of the new trucks.
Looks like I'm getting a new truck.
