I do fear it will be a 45 year old Fiat 124 Spider with a leaky transmission output shaft, but I guess for the thread...

For shits and giggles I looked up what similar vintage allroads to mine were going for both on trade-in and on retail resale and it's patently absurd what dealers are asking. If I could walk in and say look, I know what I got, let's split the baby between wholesale and your resale on this trade in and call it a day on that new A6 Allroad over there I would.

Since I was 6 I've wanted an MGB GT so that's got some legs but until I have a garage I'm hesitant to go old Brit or Italian.

As Art Shirk once pointed out to us, do yourself a favor and consider the benefits of the walk-in bathtub of automobiles, the Nissan Murano convertible.

It's been said before, and I'll say it again. No one is going to take your advice on vehicle purchases. End of story.... but yes, ideally I'd like the wife to have a Leaf for everyday duties and an AWD Pacifica for when the weather turns south or the occasional road trip. I'd keep my Wrangler and Rover as playthings. Alas, I'm not buying two vehicles, I'm buying one and since she's the primary driver, she gets to pick, and she picked German and VR6.

The bodywork on that Super Duty looks custom.

I’d have Bobby check it out first.

Holy fucking shit. Just got in and turned it on out of curiosity.

An 04 Bentley GT… ok. Followed by a fucking Chevy SSR and some “Studebaker” with an LS in it.

We've got less than 20 years more of this boomer bullshit. There is a whole new generation of generic people with too much money right behind them. Get your Pokemon collection built now. First gen Prius is another hot item. Lol

If any one of you sunsabitches snakes that cherry SE-V6 Assfinder out from under me before it rolls across one of these auction blocks I'm gonna find you.

ETAdded cringe: they keep saying "Porsh".

    It's a fucking man's name and isn't that hard. It's Por-sha. Do we call Dodge "Dod-gA"?

One of three Euros I saw cross the block ended tonight's live coverage: a Bangle-era 650i which the auctioneer noted had a notorious valve gasket issue.

It was a manual with low miles and went for $19k

    Neat.

These auctions are like if Top Gear was filmed in The Villages.

That’s hilarious right there. There’s a guy in town I’ve been watching for as long as I’ve been behind the wheel - an early infatuation with c body furys then mid 70’s police cars have always been stacked back in his driveway- a while back in addition to his daily which was a late 80’s diplomat- of course he had a back up-he started driving bmws- he’s now been it appears taking a position in those 650’s. It’s like a pile up on the other side of the highway every time I pass, can’t not look.

Need to tune in later- your commentary on the gallery of buyers has been side splitting!

Sedans don't get the love they deserve. Sold this 23 Flying Spur Speed (626hp) yesterday. It doesn't get much better than this for a daily.

Ah yes, 3 rows. More money for less space than a minivan, and harder to get kids and things into to boot. Thank God you aren't caught driving a minivan you tell yourself as you desperately try to cling to some notion you're still cool.
(Notes not valid if you're buying to tow more than 3k pounds and have a family mover)

3rd rows are also dangerous. I don't use the one we have.

Also, that's a sweet bentley. We keep trying to find good replacements for our 535d xdrive, but most stuff is boring to drive or overpriced. I really don't want to pay porsche money for an interesting new sedan (note that we're in the cold regions and have some long trips with no chargers, so BEVs are out for now).
