Shouldn't the whole car be painted jumpsuit orange?

Judging by how many Challengers and Chargers are associated with crime in my city the name checks out.

I look forward to seeing you test the upper limit of the speedo Bobby.

The orange goes with the jail theme.

One of my vehicles (SQ5) has orange calipers - it’s been life-changing.

I've never owned a vehicle with colored calipers.
    Looking forward to it.

No just the same spec pic I found on the internet. Late Mar-early April so far, unless they run out of door handles or something beforehand. Car making and buying is bizarre right now.

What would be the most Italian thing to run out of when making a car these days I wonder?

Ironically. On the "build your own" part of the website they have two reds for the body color. I was bouncing back and forth between a metallic red and the black. The salesman calls me up and says due to lack of paint availability they cancelled that particular red after Nov 30 order date.

I'd buy one. First vehicle I almost wrecked on the job was a Ram SRT10 manual.

Was at LR today and they had just sold one of these. Guy paid over 2x MSRP for it. Apparently that’s still leaving room to make a profit on them through flipping if desired. It’s a rebadged v8 defender that shines like patent leather. This market is fucking batshit.

I stopped into a local lot the other day because I need a beater and he had one that looked like a candidate. It wasn't. An 07 or so Mazda 3 with 230k and no clear coat left on half the roof for $4500. I offered $1k. He agreed that it's barely worth $2k. I passed by today leaving the supermarket and it was already sold. The 08 XC70 that has been there for a few weeks is still there, 335k, shit tires, useless faded headlights and it's only $7500. His mechanic bailed for better money so nothing gets touched anymore before hitting the lot. All the dealers here are bummed because Aamco had to close because their mechanics had covid and two out of three died, they pick up cars at auction, get them to their lot then find out they're garbage and there's no tranny shop left to solve the problem.

    Rad. 10/10 definitely would bang.

But not at 2x MSRP. Aren't the regular, peasant-class D110s like $100k+ new?

The normal V8 was 105k I think, but 110s started in the $50s (though any options put them closer to 70-85). Apparently they’re all getting “market adjustments” of 10-15k over MSRP now too, though the guy said their order backlog is running close to a year out at this point so you really can’t even find them.

    Yikes.

When down in Mammoth Lakes last week, I saw plenty. I guess they are all going SoCal.

You can’t swing a Barbour catalogue around here without hitting a Defender.

Every trim imaginable too, from full-on aspiring rap star’s girlfriend to next-level GOTOS.

My brother in law who took delivery of his in April is looking like one front-running sunofabitch right now.
