excellent sedan if you can live with a sedan. Staggered tires are stupid and BMW loves to do that.

The SQ5 isn’t a sedan/coupe and none of the cars in its class will drive like those, but it’s a lot more fun than the Tiguan I traded in or my 4Runner.

And the SQ5 has orange brake calipers, so there’s that.

How about the Cayenne? Doesn't scream money. Is there a sweet spot in the past 4 years? Is it as bulletproof as a 911? In other words, can I drive it for 10+ years? Obvious fun and cool factor. 24 gallon tank for the apocalypse.

Can I paint a chicken on the hood?

huh? Isn’t the whole thing of the cayenne the $70k suv buyer can pretend they have a $190k suv? And slightly vice versa.

No idea what that means. Doesn’t strike me as a poser car. I expect it to be seriously well built although never been in one.

Isn’t it a glorified VW/Audi to an extent? Built on a shared platform, and modified version of the corporate engines?

(I also have not been in one.)

not sure what a poser car is anymore. Just stating that unless you pay attention a Turbo GT isn’t much visually different from a base model, and vice versa, and neither are cheap

Isn't that an argument against springing for the Turbo GT and finding a couple year old one for $60K that I can drive for the next 10+ years? Base comes with tons of features it seems. Doesn't "look" like a base model. Build quality should be excellent.

    Huck:

Porsche has been named the top or at least in the top 5 “most reliable” brands for a while now. The Audi models are based off the P-car variants.

I’ve had a fair amount of seat time in most of the current (last 10 years) lineup and if I’m pressed for stealth I’m in a Panemera over the Cayenne every day.

It’s a modern 928 with a MASSIVE back seat. Go wagon Sport Turismo to take even more advantage of that. Looks great, will last, room for shit, goes fast, isn’t a 6,000lb suv; what’s not to like?

Cool. Thx boys. Point being ... quality, longevity and cool of the brand are there and maybe the stealth. Cayenne and Panamera are worthy of course. 2020s are going for ~$60K and $80K respectively. Keep it for a long time and the money is a wash and you'll likely never get tired of getting behind the wheel.

Ugh yeah, not a fan. Go Guards Red or don’t go.

I’m guessing it’s a weight saving paint job like the microns-thin paint on an F-40.

Yeah. This whole matte trend needs to go. Looks like your clear coat is shot right out the gate. Paint looks like it belongs on a 93 Ford Escort on Craigslist.

I was thinking Persian jewelry dealer would drive that Lambo. Bet those are popular in Miami and parts of Jersey

I don't see them in Jersey at all, I've only seen 1 to date. They might be more popular in LI--along the Gold Coast?

Mercedes G class is popular here.
